FertiWiser Control Unit & Remote Unit / Outdoor Box

The FertiWiser System includes the Main Control Unit, which integrates and is installed next to your existing sprinkler timer. It also includes a FertiWiser Outdoor Box which houses the FertiWiser Remote Unit, two fertilizer injectors, cooling fan, hose connections, and two different types of fertilizers. Fertilizer is sold separately (see Fertilizers Page in the Products Tab) for fertilizer choices. The Main Line connection (known as the FertiWiser Coupling) is also required (see Accessories Page in the Products Tab for connection types). Note that a universal connection is not possible since homeowners may have different size and type of main lines, therefore the connection type will vary.

The FertiWiser System is unique with its patented technology that utilizes the existing sprinkler wire that runs from you timer (typically in your garage) to your first valve box so there is no additional trenching and running wire. Our Control Unit mounts next to your timer and the Remote Unit (housed inside the included outdoor box) is located near your backflow device and your first valve box. There is a small amount of wiring required from the FertiWiser outdoor box to the first valve box. The FertiWiser Coupling (sold separately) is also required to be installed downstream of the backflow preventor where the fertilizer injection hoses are installed from the outdoor box.

The FertiWiser System is completely controllable by zone for both by the type of fertilizer and the rate of fertilization. It has (2) injectors that can inject full strength liquid fertilizer at the same time so other kinds of fertilizer mixtures can be achieved. It works with any existing 24V timer and is designed to be retrofitted into your existing sprinkler system. The FertiWiser is able to handle up to 12 zones and is expandable by 12 zone increments with our 12 zone expansion controller (see the FertiWiser Store under accessories for this expansion controller). This is a robust and highly controllable system that will give you the best looking lawn, flowers and shrubs on the block.

It is extremely affordable and the most environmentally responsible way to fertilize since it micro-doses fertilizer continually while you water your lawn, every time you water your lawn. The concentration of fertilizer is so low that there is virtually no runoff harming the environment and most all of the macronutrients are absorbed by the plants roots at the time of watering making it highly efficient. In fact, it has similar amounts of Nitrogen as rainfall does making it safer for children and pets as well as the environment.

Not all DIYers will feel comfortable installing the System. Not to worry… FertiWiser is building a network of installers who have experience installing our System. The FertiWiser System is backed by a 2 year Limited Warranty which includes all electrical and mechanical components. FertiWiser will repair or replace any covered defective part during this Warranty Period.
